GIRL SCOUT DAY AT THE FIELD 2012

The MMAFRC hosted a modeling camp for some area Girl Scouts in June at the field. 19 girls and their councelors took turns learning the controls of the airplanes with a simulator, under the instruction of Pete Micale. Later, they all had the chance to fly a real model under the watchful eye of instructors John O'Brien, Larry McWorthy and Darry Miller, using one of the "budy boxes" modeling instructors use to teach their students. Even some of the councelors took a turn with the buddy box!!
Thanks to the MMAFRC members who came out to help for this fun day!!!
